Mini 4-H (was Exploring 4-H)
This page is being updated
Mini 4-H is a program for any child who is in the first or second grade (1 or 2). Mini 4-H’ers are not required to attend meetings, but are encouraged to attend the special activities planned for them. The Mini 4-H’er and his or her family work together to complete their project. There is no competition in the Mini program and all youth who complete an exhibit for the fair receive the same blue completion ribbon, pin and certificate. Judges comment sheets are provided.
Project manuals contain suggested activities to help the Mini 4-H'er learn about their project area. They are not required to complete all activities in the manuals. Parents are encouraged to help the Mini 4-H'er choose the activities that interest them.
Mini 4-H exhibit requirements are located on the Mini 4-H Requirements page.
